Chicken Barra with Gravy
For Chicken Marination
Ingredients
1 Kg Chicken
1/2 cup curd
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp Kashmiri mirch powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
2 tbsp chat Masala powder
1 tbsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
Red food colour
Coriander leaves + green chilli = green paste
1 fried onion paste
Marinate the Chicken with above ingredients for about 15-20 minutes.
In a pan put 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter put the marinated Chicken in the pan and cook on low flame for about 15-20 minutes.Dry the Remaining chicken water.
Keep the remaining marinated masala and 2 tbsp green paste for later use.
After the Chicken is cooked ,grill the chicken in the microwave for about 10 minutes.
For Gravy
Ingredients
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter
Remaining marinated Masala
1 cup fresh cream/Malai
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp chaat Masala
2 tbsp green paste
Milk as required
Coriander leaves and butter for garnishing
Method for gravy
In a pan add 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp butter then add the remaining marinated Masala and little water and cook the masala on low flame for 2-3 minutes. After the masala is cooked add 1 cup fresh cream ,2 tbsp green paste ,1/4 tsp Salt ,1 tsp Chaat masala and let every thing cook for 1 minute in high flame. To adjust the consistency add water or milk as per your requirement. Let it cook for 1 minute. Add coriander leaves Then add the grilled chicken and mix it nicely. Garnish with Butter for more taste. Serve hot with Naan ,Kulcha or Roti!!!
